just another injustice in the Troy Davis case

Troy Davis is african american male who is currently sitting on death row for the murder of a white police officer, in which, there was eyewitness testimony that was conflicting. there was no physical evidence linking him to the crime, and no murder weapon so he was convicted on witness testimony. The witnesses have since changed their stories but this man sits on death row. Restrictions on federal appeals have made it very difficult Mr. Davis to have a hearing in federal court on the testimony used to put him on death row. This is truly an injustice and warrants the kind of attention that the Jena 6 case got. He really needs the african american community and those outside the community who believe in justice to rally behind him and put pressure on the Governor of Georgia to pardon this man, or commute his sentence if he does not prevail in the courts. His life hangs in the balance. Free Troy Davis.
