jena six exposure

i really like the fact that many leaders, radio personalities, and others from all walks of life have gotten involved and have made the Jena six, a national issue, and it should because the justice system is handing out its brand of injustice to african american youth as it usually does. Michael Baisden who is a talk show host out of Atlanta is spearheading a rally in Jena, Lousiana to show support for the Jena six. I, myself, would like to think the people's attorney, Warren Balentine, for his persistence on this issue. Daily, the people's attorney has managed to keep this case on the front burner not allowing the african american community to let the jena six become an after thought. There needs to be more of this concerted effort among civil rights organizations, business leaders, black academia, politicians such as the Congressional BlackCaucus, professional athletes, and radio, and tv personalities in the african american community to be more a part of fighting the injustices that the african american community confronts on a daily basis. Those of us who don't have a large influence can just simply get involved by donating to a cause, or participating in rallies
